Some of my favorite drawings are done from life—these portraits are of friends, acquaintances, artists' models, and fellow art students. Most of these sketches were done in a few minutes.
I'm proud of each one; there's something special that happens when you draw from the actual model, rather than copying a photograph. I'd like to think that I've captured something unique in each of these portraits.
